Material Sorter Urgently Hiring

Processes required amount of donated merchandise in preparation for sale to salvage vendors for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Must have strong adherence to all safety policies and wearing all required personal protective equipment at all times.

Inspects donated merchandise, as required, analyzing quality and determining proper category.

May be cross-trained to work as a Retail Sales Associate and/or Forklift Operator.

Receives and processes merchandise.

Maintains workstation in an organized and safe manner free from food, drink, or other personal items.

Maintains a clean work environment, including restrooms, floors, walls, windows, and parking lots, as directed.

Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
