QA-QC/Lab Chemist

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks a Chemist II to lead inorganic chemistry analyses in the State Laboratory of Public Health. You will perform ICP‑OES, ICP‑MS, and ion chromatography on drinking water and environmental lead samples, provide QA/QC oversight, and support reporting and data delivery.
Responsibilities include daily sample accessioning, instrument troubleshooting, staff training, and assisting with supervisory duties when needed.
