Manufacturing quality engineering

Quality Control Section ManagerThis position will support the Quality Control Section Manager in the completion of various duties required to meet the goals of the department.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesEnsure product's compliance with customer's requirements.Interface with customer relating manufacturing quality issues.Work with approved supplier to procure quality subcomponents using PPAP.Participate in drawing review at early product planning stages.Implement customer part approval process activity per AIAG guidelines.Evaluate data, set control levels and maintain SPC control charts on selected items.Present information at Quality Review stages.Feedback customer quality information back to manufacturing.Implement customer part approval process activity per AIAG guidelines.Customer Window.Customer PPAP Process.Set up & Evaluation of RT Parts.Evaluation of Returned Product (Field & Customer) & Report.Preparation of Management review material (Monthly & QR).Defect Analysis & Reporting.3K (Hub & ECT pin hole etc..).Help achieve ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14001 registration within company determined time frame.Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by the Supervisor or Management.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesComplete product knowledgeComplete process knowledgeGeneral physics abilityExcellent written communication skillsExcellent time management skillsExcellent cooperative personalityAbility to work 3 shiftsAbility to work weekends and holidaysShort term notice business travelOverseas business travelAbility to interact well with coworkers.Qualifications, Education & Experience RequiredBachelor of science 4+ year degree (BSC or BEng) in engineering, or engineering technology. Accepted Engineering or Engineering Technology degrees: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Control, Computer engineering, Electro-mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Mechatronics Robotics engineering, and Systems.5 years of prior applicable experience in manufacturing.Electronics experience desired.Automotive experience desired.Valid passport for travel required for travelSolidworks or other CAD drawing software experience preferred.Work EnvironmentSome dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding debris, compressed air, metal shavings, propane, solvents and occasional heavy lifting.Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils.
