Respiratory ICU Nurse

TRAVEL - RN ICU is responsible for delivering high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting. The role requires safe, evidence-based clinical judgment, continuous monitoring, and effective collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team.

Assess, monitor, and reassess patients' condition using advanced critical care standards.

Administer medications and therapies while maintaining correct dosage, timing, and patient safety.

Manage ventilators, hemodynamic support equipment, and other ICU monitoring systems as appropriate.

Implement nursing interventions for complex needs including sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and postoperative patients.

Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record.

Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and allied staff to support continuity of care.

Hold an active RN license and be eligible to practice in the assigned state.

obtain ACLS or critical care certification as required for ICU practice.

Demonstrate at least 1 year of ICU experience delivering direct bedside critical care.

Prove competency with ICU documentation, medication administration, and infection prevention practices.
