Job Description Purchasing Agent - QuickBooks purchasing experience required Location: Hours : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Temp to Perm - Onsite
Position Summary The Purchasing Agent is responsible for processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, tracking inventory needs, and coordinating with production and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials. This role requires strong procurement experience in the industrial sector and proficiency with QuickBooks purchasing .
Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, order status, and delivery schedules
Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor files
Monitor inventory levels and support reordering of materials and supplies
Work closely with production, warehouse, and administration to support daily operations
Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document organization
Apply procurement best practices in a fast-paced industrial environment
3–5 years of procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Knowledge of pipes, valves, and fittings is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- QuickBooks purchasing experience required
