Baker/Mixer- Full Time

Hoffman's Fine Cakes and Pastries is a high quality, scratch bakery that has been making wonderful products for over 42 years. Since moving from Kirkland to Redmond we have increased our sales dramatically and need to increase our staff in order to meet the demand! We are looking to add a full time baker to our team.

As a baker for Hoffman's, your first priority is to create an amazing product that exceeds our customer’s expectations. This position is for someone who loves cake, pastry and being part of a fast paced team. Both bakers and decorators are required to maneuver bun racks that are on castors throughout the kitchen, sometimes empty and sometimes loaded with product. Both bakers and decorators have to hand whisk certain items. Our large mixers are operated with a hand crank, so both bakers and decorators are required to crank the bowl up and down for every batch that the mixer is used for. Bakers are often required to use a rolling pin to hand roll out a piece of dough. Most of our pastries are shaped by hand, using all fingers and the heal of the hand.

Have professional experience working in a commercial bakery environment (preferred).

Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays (the bakery is closed on New Years day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas).
