Arcadis is looking for a Civil Engineer to support our Mid-Atlantic Region. The candidate in this role will perform site civil design and project management tasks for a variety of projects in the region. Tasks may include site layouts, grading, hydraulic modeling, utility design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control design, and task/project management. This Civil Engineer will be responsible for leading site civil design and permitting efforts for municipal and industrial facilities, including water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and utility transmission and distribution projects. The position manages the planning, design, and permitting process to ensure all work complies with contracts, drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and Arcadis quality and safety standards. The individual also communicates closely with clients, establishes clear goals and objectives for project teams, and coordinates resources and schedules to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations. Some local travel may be required.Provide technical expertise on multi-disciplined projects as a design leader, QA/QC reviewer or technical advisor.Navigate local and state permitting requirements to obtain regulatory approval for projects. Work directly with clients to determine needs and deliver solutions and lead the growth of client relationships with target clients.Qualifications & Experience:Required Qualifications8 years or more of experience in site civil projectsBS degree in Civil Engineering or relatedPE License.
