To assist members, non-members and indirect dealerships with loan requests applied both directly and indirectly, while providing clerical and administrative support needed to process and fund consumer loans

Follows up with the Loan Officer to determine status.

Obtain, verify and complete paperwork related to loans which may include title application, insurance documents, check stubs, etc. Responsible for the timely processing of loan applications.

Facilitates the loan process from application to closing by working directly with MSR, Loan team, dealerships and the members.

Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data.

Confirms all processed loan documents are complete and accurate according to policies and requirements set out in regulation; makes certain each file is documented in accordance with written procedure.

Present a professional and positive image of the Credit Union while identifying member needs and providing financial solutions with our products and services.

Supports inbound dealership calls and messages via loan systems, contacts dealerships’ weekly/daily to follow up on deals and updates loan data in the credit union’s lending system.

Respond to telephone and written inquiries regarding loan questions. Files loan documents with the appropriate agencies.

Understand and be able to read and interpret credit bureaus.

Inputs and updates loan data in the credit union’s lending systems and assembles follow-up documentation for all loan types.

Enforces compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) requirements, and should request legal interpretation as necessary to identify compliance concerns.

2 years of experience in loan processing, banking, or financial services.

Experience with loan interviews and have a thorough understanding of the Loan Policy and Guidelines

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and relevant systems

Experience working with indirect loans or dealership financing.

Experience working with Adobe Acrobat.

Understanding of credit reports and lending policy guidelines.

Ability to adhere to internal policies as well as external policies and regulations set forth by the NCUA

Candidate must be knowledgeable of Credit Unions’ product and services and demonstrate the ability to cross-sell and build deeper relationships with our membership

Working knowledge of M365 Software

Must be able to work independently and collaborate with loan officers, MSR’s and dealerships to obtain necessary information

Ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

Maintains compliance with all applicable policies, demonstrating integrity, respect, and accountability while handling sensitive information and complying with FPCU policies, regulatory expectations, and confidentiality requirements.
