Real Estate Law Attorney
BCG Attorney Search
Job Overview A law firm seeks an attorney to join a growing real estate-focused practice in Columbus, OH. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a desire to grow a personal book of business and provide transaction support. They must have 3-5 years of experience in real estate legal matters, focusing on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, title work, commercial leasing, land use, zoning, and condominium matters.
Duties Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements.
Draft and negotiate commercial leases.
Review and negotiate financing agreements with lenders.
Review title commitments and surveys.
Draft operating agreements and joint venture agreements with investors and partners.
Oversee basic land use and zoning matters.
Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of transactional commercial real estate experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desire to grow with the firm and develop a personal book of business.
Strong drafting, research, and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Licensed to practice in Ohio.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
Skills Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent research and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
