Be a part of a world-class team who keep the world moving through the manufacturing of Heavy Duty trucksWhat You Drive At DTNAGeneral Purpose of the Position:Operate equipment including a robot polisher, laser cutter, shear, roller, and packaging stations to support production requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards.Interpret work orders, production routers, bills of materials (BOMs), product manuals, and/or verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks.Operate shear machine and verify accuracy of cut specifications.Complete all required daily paperwork and update production boards.Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing process improvement suggestions.Maintain a clean and organized work area through daily housekeeping responsibilities.Be flexible and willing to move to different work areas based on production needs.Be available to work overtime, including weekends, when required.Participate in team huddles, group projects, and one-on-one communications.Minimum Requirements:Education: High school diploma/GEDYears of Experience: 1–3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferredOther Qualifications:Ability to use basic gauges, hand tools, and a tape measure accuratelyAbility to read and interpret drawings, wiring prints, and basic welding specifications (e.g., thickness)Skilled in using a hand polisherStrong oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivated individual who takes pride in personal and team developmentStrong basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimalsAbility to follow detailed written or verbal instructionsAbility to perform precise, high-quality workStrong organizational skills with accurate recordkeepingBasic computer proficiencyPhysical Requirements:Frequent hand gripping and fine motor manipulation to assemble parts, operate tools, and handle small components.with consistent grip strength throughout the shift.Frequent reaching with hands and arms to retrieve parts, operate fixtures, or position components.Frequent overhead reachingConsistently lifting up to 35lbs throughout the shift, as required for handling materials or assemblies.Where We WorkThis position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s): Tooele, UT US.
