Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN Facility and Practice Overview
Join a dedicated healthcare team at a community hospital in Tiffin, Ohio, where you can make a meaningful impact. This facility is well-equipped, featuring 10 LDRP beds, 3 postpartum beds, and 1 Triage bed, and supports a collaborative environment with 2 physicians and 5 certified nurse midwives. You'll provide essential OB/GYN services, including on-call coverage, and work with a range of patients in both surgical and delivery settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-call coverage for the Hospital ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery.
Perform a variety of OB/GYN related surgeries, including C-sections and scheduled D&C.
Manage patient admissions and care in the nursery and pediatric units.
Document patient interactions using the EPIC EMR system.
Adhere to hospital protocols and collaborate with nursing staff and colleagues.
Qualifications
Board Certified in OB/GYN.
Valid Ohio medical license (Required).
Current NRP and ACLS certifications (Required).
COVID-19 vaccination (Preferred).
Flu vaccination (Required).
Availability to fulfill the specified coverage dates.
Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days (Required).
License and Certification Requirements
Ohio medical license (Required).
Board Certification in OB/GYN (Required).
NRP and ACLS certifications (Required).
