RN Emergency Department - PRN, Flex Shifts

Position Summary Medical Operations Registered Nurse (RN) supports licensed physician or advanced practice nurse and the treatment team in clinic care. Schedule is PRN (Mon‑Fri, 8am‑4:30pm). Must work two shifts per month. Compensation $32‑$38 per hour.

Responsibilities Nursing assessments and prepare consumer for clinic visit.

Advocate for consumers and participate in ongoing evaluation of progress toward treatment goals within the clinic setting.

Provide general guidance and health education to consumers and family members.

Proficient in electronic health record.

Conduct assessments with consumers in the community (home, day treatment program, etc.) to provide continuity of care.

Provide nursing coverage for other clinic locations and departments on a PRN basis.

Work collaboratively with community providers for integrated whole‑person care.

Comply with applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedure, policies, standards, and/or grant.

Obtain releases from PCPs, specialists, other treatment facilities, ER visits, and hospitalizations as needed for consumer care.

Complete Prior Authorizations and Attestations for treatment medications.

Perform rescue functions during emergencies, administer basic emergency medical aid, and evacuate individuals to safe locations.

Demonstrate proficiency in labs, injections, glucometer, UDS testing and pregnancy testing.

Remain flexible and positive to changing needs.

Prioritize customer service with internal and external customers.

Systematically gather data necessary in treatment of consumer.

Requirements Certificate of training from college or technical school.

Valid Tennessee Registered Nursing License.

Current phlebotomy skills required.

Personal Automobile Insurance.
