Established matrimonial and family law firm seeks experienced Associate Attorney to join our team of professionals.
Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the New York Bar
2+ years of experience in matrimonial law practice
Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients and colleagues
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong foundation in legal writing
Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities Advise clients on divorce and family law matters
Build and maintain client relationships
Advocate for clients in court
Prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
Assist in trial preparation
Perform legal research
Meet or exceed average billable time requirements
Maintain professional ethical standards
