Emergency Room Nurse Night

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Position
Location: Austin, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with rotating weekends.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, particularly in trauma care, and will be required to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
Perform assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans.
Assist in trauma and critical care situations including airway support and central line placement.
Utilize advanced technologies and equipment within the department.
Support behavioral health de-escalation techniques as needed.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Must possess ACLS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS certifications.
Experience with Meditech and Trauma care preferred.
Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting is required.
