Status: Part-Time, Hourly
Shift: Evening (3 PM - 11 PM Saturday & Sunday - every other weekend, holiday shifts required)
Pay Range: $20.63 - $25.71 per hour
A hospital patient registrar collects patient information and performs several functions, from verifying insurance to executing admissions, transfer, and discharge procedures. Knowledge of medical technology
Good typing and computer skills
Fluent in Spanish
Part-Time, hourly position
Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM Saturday & Sunday - every other weekend
Holiday shifts are required
Experience in a hospital patient registration setting, doctor’s office, handling patients scheduling, obtaining pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals or patient services environment strongly preferred.
Previous experience in patient services environment billing/collections—must have a working knowledge of more than one provider such as Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs and others.
Experience in completing medical assistance application, family care, PEs, PAICs or charity care.
Experience in a customer service related environment preferred.
