Starbucks Barista | Flexible Hours

Responsibilities: The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking barista candidates for our
Starbucks location in the heart of the Zoo. This position is responsible for but
not limited to welcoming customers, providing prompt and high-level customer
service Starbucks and the Zoo are known for, taking orders and operating the POS
system, preparing a variety of quality coffee and food products, and maintaining
a clean and organized work environment. Contributes to a positive team
environment and communicates well and proactively with managers and fellow
baristas. The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour but may
increase based on availability and experience.

Qualifications: Prior food service experience with customer service and cash
register handling is preferred but not required. Ability to work as part of a
positive team with good communication and customer service skills. Must have the
ability to work a flexible schedule; hours will include weekday, weekends,
holidays, and on occasion evenings during special event activity. All successful
candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background
check.
