Respiratory Tech Fulltime - RRT

This full-time, on-site Respiratory Therapist role is based in Clermont, FL. The Respiratory Therapist will assess, plan, and provide respiratory care treatments for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions, following physician orders and established protocols. Daily responsibilities include administering oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, and diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas sampling. The role will involve monitoring patient responses, adjusting therapies, documenting care accurately, and collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The Respiratory Therapist may also provide respiratory care support in critical care areas, participate in emergency response teams, and educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment use.

Demonstrated proficiency in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Therapy care, with the ability to assess and treat a variety of respiratory conditions.

Experience in Respiratory Care delivery across different care settings, including acute care units and critical care environments.

Knowledge of Medicine principles relevant to respiratory management, including pharmacology and cardiopulmonary pathophysiology.

Experience or training in Neonatal Intensive Care or pediatric respiratory support is preferred.

Active state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in Florida, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.

Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced clinical environment.
