Transportation School Nurse RN LPN

This role focuses on providing attentive care to a student with complex medical needs-including seizure management and wheelchair support-both during school transportation and throughout the day. You will accompany the student on the bus, offering hands-on assistance and peace of mind to both the student and their family. The schedule is convenient: Monday through Friday, from 7:00-9:00 AM for morning transport, then again from 2:30-4:30 PM for the afternoon bus ride, with occasional extensions to accommodate the student's needs.

Desired Qualifications:

Active RN or LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts
Prior pediatric, school nursing, or 1:1 case experience highly valued
Skilled in seizure management and emergency response
Comfortable assisting non-verbal, wheelchair-bound students
Compassion, patience, and clear communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor student's health status and respond to seizure activity or other conditions as needed during transportation
Safely transfer and support student in and out of the wheelchair
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Communicate student needs and changes promptly to caregivers and school staff
