Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. Ensures that the patient is properly introduced to the unit & his/her surroundings within one hour after arrival in unit.Assesses the patient's admission status & documents this on the admission form & critical care record within 2 hours of arrival to unit.Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his/her health problem(s) & his/her expectations of the present hospitalization.Uses observational & interviewing skills to perform a priority patient assessment every shift.Makes rounds & documents patient's status on critical care record at least every 2 hours.
