Contract (6-Month Assignment) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Rotate weekend shifts on an every-other-weekend basis
Participate in holiday rotation based on unit needs
Float to an additional campus location as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
Ability to monitor and respond to telemetry data
Willingness to float to an alternate campus location as required
Availability for every-other-weekend and rotating holiday shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel or contract nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certification
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
