Service, repair, recondition and assemble customer and company cylinders, new or used. Maintain and operate shop equipment and tolls, performing quality work, as quickly and profitably as possible. Sell Certified Power’s parts, labor, and whole goods service 100% of the time.

Service, repair, recondition and assemble customer and company cylinders, new or used. Maintain and operate shop equipment and tolls, performing quality work, as quickly and profitably as possible. Sell Certified Power’s parts, labor, and whole goods service 100% of the time.

Machine raw materials or modify old products as assigned by Service Manager.
Perform any inspections as required.
Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.
Complete assessment of writeup for materials available and make Service Manager aware of shortages.
Notify Service Manager when parts need to be expedited.
Suggest any additional repairs needed to Service Manager and/or customer.
Make a point to thank every customer. Communication with the customer is a key element of good relations.
Periodically review product bulletins, catalogs, and parts book.
Attend company functions and meetings, visiting with customers.
Help maintain cleanliness, neatness and safety of building and lot.
Help control expenses and produce as much quality work as possible.
Treat the customers and co-workers in a friendly, courteous manner. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Ability to speak to and hear employees/clients via phone or in person.
Use chemicals with PPE, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints, and inks as required.
may require additional hours including evening and weekends depending on business needs.
Standard work hours for the service department are Monday through Friday, 7am - 4pm.
Tools and Equipment Used

Power and pneumatic tools including but not limit to angle grinders, die grinders, air drills, air chisels, Impact wrenches, torque multipliers, torches, band saw, electric drill, circular saw, cranes, and forklift.
Various diagnostic equipment, test stands and test fixtures.

High school diploma or GED
Ability to drive and be certified to drive a forklift
Must be 18 years of age or older.
