Phlebotomist - Lead (Monday-Friday)

Job Summary Labcorp is seeking a Lead Phlebotomist to join our team at 751 NE Blakely Drive, Issaquah, WA 98029. The Work Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am‑5:00pm, with rotating weekends.
Job Responsibilities Provide coverage and travel to various sites to perform phlebotomy duties.
Assist in the supervision of a team of phlebotomists covering multiple Patient Service Centers & client sites.
Observe new employee performance and report observations to the supervisor.
Perform site inspections on a regular basis and accurately report all findings.
Provide continuous training to phlebotomy staff as directed.
Complete new hire and annual competency assessments when necessary.
Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs.
Address any customer service related issues promptly and respectfully.
Review daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and make schedule adjustments as needed.
Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers.
Perform all duties of a phlebotomist and site coordinator as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service and perform skilled specimen collections.
Be the face of the company and provide the opportunity for continuous growth within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA‑P).
Preferred Qualifications 2 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist.
Prior experience in a leadership position.
Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Exceptional customer service.
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Compensation Pay Range: $21.87 to $32.28 per hour. Lead Incentive: $1.50 per hour. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333 hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year.
