LPN & RN for School Nursing

Active RN or LPN/LVN license valid in Washington State.

Previous experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or community health settings preferred.

Ability to manage medical needs, emergency care, and chronic condition support for students.

Familiarity with record-keeping, care coordination, and individualized health plans (IHPs/IEPs) is an advantage.

Assess, triage, and manage student health concerns, injuries, and illnesses during school hours.

Administer medications and manage care for chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, allergies).

Maintain accurate health records, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.

Communicate health updates and provide education to students, staff, and families.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans and participate in student support meetings.

Respond promptly to health emergencies with professionalism and care.

Promote wellness and implement preventive health strategies within the school community.
