Job Title: Mechanical Technician

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for disassembling incoming cylinders from mining equipment, inspecting all parts to identify necessary repairs, and rebuilding cylinders using various hand, power, and pneumatic tools. The role requires daily use of basic blueprints and schematics, testing and troubleshooting finished products to ensure proper functionality, and entering data of daily activities into the company database. Disassemble incoming cylinders from mining equipment.

Inspect all disassembled parts to determine repair needs.

Test and troubleshoot finished products to ensure correct operation.

Enter data of daily activities into company database.

Mechanical experience and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to perform assembly tasks.

Experience with mechanical testing and troubleshooting.

Ability to use hand tools and work with pneumatics.

6 months of mechanical experience is required.

The role operates in a production-based environment with a work schedule of 6am to 2:30pm. Optional overtime is available after the shift. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gillette, WY.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
