Prep Cook

Rosewood Market + Deli | Columbia, SC | Full-Time

Rosewood Market is looking for a Prep Cook who takes pride in doing the behind-the-scenes work that makes great food possible.

Prep Work

Break down and prep fresh vegetables, fruits, and proteins with care and consistency

Set up the kitchen team for a smooth, well-stocked shift from start to finish

Kitchen Standards

Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Monitor product quality and pull anything that doesn't meet Rosewood standards

Keep your station clean, organized, and inspection-ready

Take direction from the Kitchen Manager and RWM Leadership Team

Support fellow team members and contribute to a kitchen culture built on pride and accountability

A genuine passion for food; Strong knife skills and comfort with high-volume prep

Dependable, punctual, and ready to work (including weekends, no Sundays)

Able to stay on your feet for a full shift and work in a fast-paced environment

Must communicate through company-designated platforms including Homebase and email

Prior kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but we'll train the right person

Starting at $15.00 $16.00 per hour

• No overnight shifts, we close by 3pm (closed all day Sundays)

1-2 years kitchen experience (preferred)

• Has a passion for food and using the best ingredients
• Adheres to all SC Department of Agriculture requirements including following rules of cooling, time control of temperature and storing food properly
