Full Time HousekeeperDallas, Texas, United StatesBuckner Retirement Services Community: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pmJob Schedule: Full-TimeWe are seeking a Housekeeper to join our community committed to delivering outstanding cleaning services to our residents. As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in all phases of cleaning that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do:Performs all duties in a courteous manner and maintains excellence in customer service including but not limited to cheerfully greeting residents and visitors and exercising respect with co-workers.Cleans and services rooms, baths, and offices; dusts furniture and equipment; cleans windows, window sills, light globes; strips, waxes, and buffs floors as needed. Mixes/dilutes housekeeping chemicals and products according to instructions.Moves furniture as needed in accordance with safety policies and procedures.Assists dietary unit as needed with set ups, clean up, policing spills during meals, etc.Keeps utility storage rooms in good order by cleaning lockers and equipment, arranging supplies, and sweeping and mopping floor. Reports issues of department equipment when it is not in good working condition in accordance with manufacturer's operational standards.Detects and corrects, or reports, hazardous conditions that have a possibility of causing accidents or injuries to residents, employees, or visitors.Requires in-depth understanding of all phases of housekeeping operations; Requires basic knowledge of house cleaning devices, such as brooms, mops, etc., cleaning agents, and sanitation/cleaning requirements.Preferred ability to read, write and understand business documents which are written in English.Requires ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers. Requires ability to move cleaning equipment throughout the facility on a daily basis.Work deals mostly with objects, equipment, and/or machines at or within arm's reach.
