As a member of the Product and Partnerships team, our Product Manager II executes product strategy and manages day-to-day operations for assigned lines of business, translating senior leadership's portfolio-level direction into tactical action while keeping products competitive and performing well. Acting as the operational expert, this role works cross-functionally and exercises autonomy in execution decisions to meet business objectives, respond to market changes, and satisfy customer and regulatory requirements across multiple states – all in service of making our members' health journeys easier.

• Strong knowledge of commercial health insurance products and market dynamics
• Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations

Financial acumen including understanding of pricing, profitability, and business case development

Data-driven decision-making with ability to use metrics to guide execution

Ability to identify issues, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies

Bias toward action with ability to move from analysis to execution efficiently

Ability to influence outcomes through data, logic, and relationship-building

Manage day-to-day product operations, including benefit design implementation, rate execution, and product configuration.

Gather and synthesize market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform portfolio strategy.

Analyze product performance, market trends, and competitive positioning to identify emerging market needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.

Provide data-driven recommendations to senior product leadership on strategic opportunities and threats.

Partner with actuarial, underwriting, sales, operations, and compliance to execute product strategy.

Lead cross-functional teams through product changes, implementations, and issue resolution, facilitating alignment across diverse stakeholders and escalating strategic issues and conflicts appropriately.

Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and clearly communicate product changes, requirements, timelines, performance reports, and recommendations across the organization and to leadership.

The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, training; and performance history.

National pay structure — applies to the Boise and Lewiston, ID; The full salary range is $105,000 - $172,000and the bonus target is 18%. Regional pay structure — applies to North Dakota and Arkansas, as well as Idaho and Utah locations outside the metro areas listed above: The full salary range is $95,000 - $155,000 and the bonus target is 18%.
