Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Experience: 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location; Active RN License

Must-Have: Must be willing to float between 8 different units. Telemetry monitoring experience, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. Experience with cardiac drips and reading telemetry strips.

Description: Responsible for cardiac monitoring and administering cardiac drips. Must be willing to float throughout the facility to all Med/Surg Tele areas. Clinician to patient ratio during days and evenings is up to 5:1. During nights, the ratio is up to 6:1. Provide care for patients in various conditions, including non-vented patients who are transfer-ready in the ICU. Units range in size from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation requirements will include days and evenings, with 1 to 3 rotations to nights during the contract. EMR charting system utilized is EPIC.
