Job Description Nursing Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our home healthcare team. The ideal candidate requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient service while adhering to safety and health regulations. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff to ensure the well-being of patients, assisting them with daily activities and medical needs.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Support hospice care by providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
Utilize Wellsky Home Health EMR system for documenting patient information accurately.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient conditions and changes.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant by the Virginia Board of Nursing
Experience in home health is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Wellsky Home Health (formerly known as Kinnser) or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
Experience working with children is beneficial but not required.
