Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bartender Lead to oversee bar operations while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast paced hospitality environment. This position is responsible for supporting daily bar operations, maintaining service standards, assisting with inventory and ordering processes, and leading the bar team through hands‑on training and operational support.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, the ability to coach and develop team members, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere for both guests and associates. This role requires an individual who can lead by example, ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation, and support management with operational execution and service standards.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements
Supervising bar staff during shifts
Assisting with scheduling and training, ensuring compliance with alcohol service policies and safety standards
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of bar areas
Supporting inventory controls
Assisting in driving beverage sales and guest satisfaction
Resolving guest concerns and ensuring efficient service during high volume periods
Job Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of bartender experience in a high volume restaurant, hotel, or bar environment
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a lead bartender, supervisory, or leadership role
Strong leadership and team development skills required
Proven ability to train, coach, and mentor team members
Excellent guest service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment while maintaining professionalism
Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service standards
Experience with inventory management and bar operational procedures preferred
Must be dependable, organized, and detail oriented
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
TABC Certification required or ability to obtain prior to employment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight as needed

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
