OrthoNC is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources team. This hybrid position offers a combination of in-office and remote work while supporting a wide range of HR functions that help drive an exceptional employee experience. Partner closely with the Human Resources team to support day-to-day HR operations across benefits, compliance, talent management, and other HR initiatives

Assist with maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and employee benefit administration portals

Support the administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, 401(k), and supplemental benefits

Respond to employee questions regarding benefits and HR-related programs while providing excellent customer service

Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR documentation

Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture within Human Resources and across departments

Support special projects and perform additional HR-related duties as assigned

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Collaborative team player with a positive, customer-focused approach

Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information

Experience working with HRIS systems and benefit administration preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Previous Human Resources experience preferred

Experience with employee benefits administration, HRIS systems, and payroll coordination preferred
