Job Description Wisner Care Center is a nursing home and assisted living facility located in Wisner, NE. We offer 38 skilled nursing beds and 14 assisted living beds, providing compassionate care and support to our residents. Our experienced team is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through personalized care plans, engaging activities, and a comfortable, home-like environment.

Pay: $18- $25

Hours:

Days- 6A-2P or 6A-6P

Evenings- 2P-10P

Nights- 10P-6A or 6P-6A

Responsibilities:

• Assist nurses and healthcare professionals in providing patient care in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and acute care facilities.
• Perform tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and documenting patient information.
• Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Skills:

• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Familiarity with different healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and acute care facilities.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) and its proper use.
