FULLTIME PARTS COUNTER PERSON

Parts ClerkLexus of Bellevue, a dealership part of the O'Brien Auto Group, is looking for a Full-Time Entry Level Parts Clerk individual for our Parts Department. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer's perspective comes first. A successful candidate will maintain accurate parts inventory and assist the Parts department with routine audits, parts organization, and tracking as well as ship, deliver, and receive parts orders.This position pays $20.00 per hour. Paid holidays pursuant to the annual holiday calendar (typically five holidays)Vacation – based on hire date and paid based on position.Medical/Dental/Vision/RXAncillary Benefits such as Short/Long Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, Spousal/Child coverages, Flexible Spending401(k) plus company matchResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Establish and maintain good working relationship with wholesale and retail customers.Assist all customers promptly and professionally including retail and service. Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, binning new parts and recording the location, conducting perpetual bin audits, and maintain special order bins.Assist in Physical Parts Inventory.Deliver parts to technicians or part recipient; all materials stored below the counter area.Immediately notify Parts Manager of damaged parts or shortages.Sweep floors, empty trash containers daily, and maintain a clean parts department.Organizes parts within the department by part number and bin location, and reconciles the information in the computer inventory system; Labels all bin locations, as well as each part location in the inventory; Manages warranty parts area by filing warranty parts and shipping and/or disposing of warranty parts as instructed by manufacturer.Picks parts to be returned to manufacturer on return orders, verifies condition of each part to be acceptable for return, ships all return parts and updates the bin location of the removal of each part.Picks cores to be returned and ships them according to factory guidelines.Performs daily bin counts and reports to the department manager any discrepancies in the inventory. Stock shelves with incoming orders and supplies, notifying parts manager of damaged or missing parts.Performs daily housekeeping duties to insure overall cleanliness of department, including but not limited to; Completes other miscellaneous tasks and/or errands relevant to the parts department operations as instructed by the department manager.Treat members of the public and customers in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner. Must conform to company policy regarding non-discrimination and harassment.Preferred Qualifications:Automotive dealership service experience is a plus.A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentStrong organizational skills and detail orientedWorking knowledge of computersEquipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used: Computer, calculator, phone, adding machine, copy machine, pens/pencils, stapler, scissors, letter opener, and fax machine.Chemicals: Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a frequent basis.
