Construction Estimator - Contractor

About the Role: We're looking for a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team in Houston, Texas . In this role, you'll develop cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, support project managers in evaluating bids and change proposals, and maintain a cost database to improve future planning. What You'll Do:

Create conceptual estimates using preliminary design documents.
Review contractor bids, change proposals, and value engineering solutions .
Maintain a cost database to track historical project data and identify vendors.
ssist in preparing bid packages and scoping contractor proposals.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and local authorities to align budgets, schedules, and project goals.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
5+ years of management experience , with at least 3 years in construction supervision .
Hands-on experience with cost estimation for new builds, renovations, and infrastructure.
Proficiency in RS Means, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) , and financial systems.
bility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have: Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, or MS Project .
