Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages
Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes
Adhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations
Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times
Adhere to sanitation and storage policies and procedures
Specific Requirements Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dining service areas
Must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties
Must be willing to handle residents based on their current maturity level
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
