Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation | No On-Call
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown setting at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines in accordance with clinical protocols
Titrate IV drips as ordered and within scope of practice
Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Complete non-billable orientation modules as required by the unit
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
Demonstrated experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5)
EPIC EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with peripheral and PICC line care and management
Experience titrating drips in an intermediate or progressive care environment
