Full Time Special Education Teacher - Schools
$60 per hourAmergis
Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Lowell, MA to hire Special Education Teachers to work with students on a contractual basis.
Duration: 2026-2027 School Year
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 32.5-35 hours /week
At least one year experience working within a school or similar setting, DESE Licensure, experience in team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
