Sonographer Position at Simmonds, Martin, & Helmbrecht of Advantia

Simmonds, Martin, & Helmbrecht of Advantia was founded in 1970, we established a tradition of great medical care by emphasizing strong personal relationships between patients and physicians. Our practice is dedicated to continuing medical education and training, and we offer many onsite services including high definition ultrasound, minimally invasive surgery, operative hysteroscopy, and comprehensive antepartum testing.

We're seeking Sonographers to join our Practice! The Sonographer should have excellent patient service and communication skills, as well as keen eyesight and attention to detail. Calibrate, maintain, and control all ultrasound equipment.

OB, Anatomy and Growth ultrasounds as well as biophysical exams.

GYN scans including saline infused sonohysterograms.

Take sonogram still images and video for physician and patients.

Notify Physicians of any abnormalities or concerns immediately.

Chart ultrasound results.

Refrain from commenting on your work to patients unless specifically instructed to do so by a Physician.

Associate or bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography from CAAHEP accredited school.

• Current ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialty required.
• Previous OB/GYN ultrasound experience strongly preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a sonographer preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients and health care staff.
