Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

This position requires a registered nurse to work in a medical-surgical unit. The schedule is a night shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts. The nurse will float between units as needed. Weekends are required, with four weekend shifts within a six-week period. The facility is a short-term acute care center. This facility is a Level II trauma center. Uniforms for licensed nursing personnel must be solid navy blue. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. The unit handles diverse patient diagnoses, including end-of-life and comfort care cases. Candidates may be expected to float to nearby facilities when necessary. All travelers must comply with the scheduling requirements and work holiday shifts as outlined.
