Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical) provides direct patient care on a fast-paced unit, supporting complex cardiovascular needs and medication infusions. The RN ensures safe, evidence-based treatment, monitors patient status, and collaborates with the care team to maintain high-quality outcomes.
Deliver bedside nursing care for medical-surgical patients with attention to telemetry overflow needs.
Administer and manage IV infusions, including drips such as cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone, with appropriate monitoring.
Implement evidence-based stroke and cardiovascular protocols, including NIHSS-related care as indicated.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate ongoing care plans and transitions.
Hold an active Registered Nurse license in Alabama at time of submission.
Bring at least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience in a large healthcare facility.
Show prior travel experience or equivalent readiness for traveler compliance requirements.
