Mountain View Dental Alamogordo – Alamogordo, NM

Pay: Competitive compensation based on experience

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

One Saturday per month required

Mountain View Dental Alamogordo is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Receptionist / Hygiene Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a fast-paced dental office, and excels at keeping schedules organized while providing exceptional customer service.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the hygiene department through scheduling coordination, patient communication, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience

Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling needs

Coordinate and maintain hygiene schedules to maximize efficiency

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes

Verify and update patient information in the practice management system

Communicate with patients regarding upcoming appointments and continuing care visits

Manage appointment reminders, cancellations, and schedule adjustments

Support office operations through administrative and clerical tasks

Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and team members to ensure a smooth patient experience

Preferred Qualifications

Dental front office or scheduling experience

Experience coordinating patient appointments

Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes

Familiarity with dental practice management software
