Urgent Full-Time Locum Dentist

Locum Dentist - Portable Dentistry - Kansas City, KS and MO Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Locum Dentist to provide portable dental care to adult patients in a variety of settings, including patients receiving care at home, assisted living communities, and PACE programs.

This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate dentist who enjoys serving geriatric patients and individuals with disabilities and is comfortable delivering high-quality general dentistry outside of a traditional dental office.

Start: ASAP

Portable dentistry - at-home and on-site care

Patient Population: Adults, including geriatric patients and individuals with disabilities

Patient Volume: TBD based on assigned locations and whether the dentist is serving assisted living/PACE facilities

The dentist will provide comprehensive bread-and-butter general dentistry, including:

Comprehensive exams and evaluations and restorative dentistry

Fillings, Crowns, Extractions, Fixed dental bridges, RCT, Partial dentures, Complete dentures, etc

Support & Equipment

Dental Assistant (DA) - assists with procedures and sets up equipment at each location

Dental Hygienist (DH)

Equipment and supplies are transported and set up by the dental assistant at each location

5-10 years of dental experience preferred

~ Experience working with geriatric patients and/or individuals with disabilities

Community health or mobile/portable dentistry experience, and geriatric patients and/or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in non-traditional dental settings

Comfortable using dental software for patient records and treatment planning
