MONDAY THRU THURSDAY: 6:00AM to 4:30PM Under general supervision, the Public Works Maintenance Worker performs routine maintenance work on City streets and buildings, and performs related duties as required. Supervision is provided by the Deputy Director of Public Works or their designee.

Ability to: Use hand and light power tools required in maintenance work; perform heavy manual labor; Possession of and ability to maintain a valid California Class "C" Driver's License is required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds or more with assistance; Employee generally works outdoors. Employee may travel to different locations and be exposed to inclement weather conditions, noise, vibration, dust, or potentially hazardous chemicals. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high and the employee may occasionally be exposed to loud talking and interruptions from telephones and/or members of the public.
