Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a Supervisor, Nursing & Patient Care Services for our Family Maternity Center. This is a full-time 40 hour per week night shift position.
Education:
~ Bachelor's Level Degree Nursing

Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR
Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State - Virginia
2 years nursing experience

• 1 year nursing leadership experience
• 3 years labor and delivery nursing experience (preferred)
• Previous Charge Nurse experience (preferred)
• Experience with high-risk deliveries (preferred)

The Supervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services for acute care shares the 24/7 responsibility to assist the manager for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas. Supervises patient care services staff to ensure patient safety, provides high quality outcomes and an exceptional patient/family experience; assists manager in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinates the purchasing and payroll processes; serves as a technical/clinical resource to team members; A valid RN license in the state(s) of practice is required.

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
