Material Handler (Stand-up Forklift)
Compensation: $17.50/hour, with a $0.75/hour increase upon successful completion of MHE (Material Handling Equipment) certification.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM. Mandatory overtime may be required (typically 2 hours at the end of shift), notification will be provided in advance.
Safely unload, break down, and sort incoming freight, including the loading and unloading of trailers (heavy lifting required, up to 50 lbs).
Operate stand-up forklifts and other warehouse equipment, as needed.
Maintain accurate records for receiving purposes using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times.
Minimum of 6 months' experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
Previous experience operating material handling equipment (stand-up forklift preferred).
Experience using RF (Radio Frequency) scanning guns.
Strong computer literacy and attention to detail.
Willingness to work overtime as needed (manager will announce overtime availability in advance).
