Part time store driver/salesperson

Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and basic part knowledge. It involves sourcing parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers, as well as maintaining store inventory and supporting maintenance processes. The position can be part‑time or full‑time, and fleet safety certification is preferred.

Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customers during visits and phone calls.

Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its sales targets.

Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper blade installs.

Maintain store product and operational standards.

Manage inventory processes such as truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stock handling.

Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facings, dusting, and parking lot.

Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock management.

Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

Basic driving and navigation ability.

Ability to use the delivery board system.

Friendly communication and strong customer relationships.

Skill in locating and stocking parts.

Safety knowledge and operational skill with inventory systems, POS, and parts lookup systems.

Expertise in using diagnostic equipment for DIY service.

Speak and write English (Spanish is a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.

Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Prior Experience that Sets a Salesperson up for Success

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.

Walking or standing for most of the shift; Primarily indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
