Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout the night shift
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as ordered by the care team
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Current BLS certification
Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Ability to work night shifts including every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or equivalent
