Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled therapy team. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who is passionate about providing high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive long-term care environment.
In-house therapy program – no contract company
Supportive, collaborative therapy and nursing teams
Ongoing clinical training and professional development
Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT)
Implement and modify physical therapy treatment plans with PT guidance
Measure and document residents’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance
Monitor resident responses to therapy and adjust interventions as needed
Observe residents and complete progress reports
Accurately document treatments, resident status changes, and other required information
Communicate therapy needs and referrals to the Registered Physical Therapist
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing (required)
