RN L&D/OB OR - Weekends

Registered Nurse - Labor and DeliveryLocation: Salem, VirginiaAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00, with expectations of 3 12-hour shifts per week and 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork in an advanced clinical setting.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor and delivery.Perform strip interpretation and assist with vaginal exams and delivery tables setup for vaginal deliveries.Circulate during cesarean sections and recover patients post-anesthesia in PACU.Administer IVs, draw labs, provide nitrous and blood administration.Assist with epidural placement and monitor for common obstetrical complications.Participate in the triage process for antepartum patients and provide education on common OB medications.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Active RN licensure.BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.Experience in Labor and Delivery setting with skills including IV insertion, lab draws, and familiarity with common OB procedures such as ECV, C/S, and vacuum/forceps assistance.Knowledge of JADA and BAKRI procedures.Teamwork approach to patient care and excellent communication skills.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
