SLP - Speech and Language Therapist

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Active or eligible licensure as approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capacity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for students exhibiting speech and language difficulties
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Deliver direct therapy sessions focusing on each student's unique communication goals
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all evaluations, services, and progress
Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and staff to coordinate seamless care
Educate and engage families, empowering them to support student growth
Remain current with best practices and state educational guidelines
